We began planting oil palms in late 2003 with a vision to promote social and economic development in the northeast region of Sayaxché.
The project started with, Year 2004 approximately 13,000 hectares 2400 hectares that were established in the field in 2005. With the vision of a family that did not hesitate to take advantage of all the development opportunities that the production of palm oil in the region and its subsequent commercialization in international markets would generate, they decided to create more job opportunities through the growth of their plantation.
By 2009, the 2400-hectare project had increased to 5585 hectares. Therefore, it was decided to start the construction of the oil processing plant in 2010. By 2015, with an established agro-industrial business model, the plantation had expanded to a total planting area of 10,180 hectares. Considering this, we are strongly convinced that the best way to achieve our objectives is through collaboration with the communities, the inhabitants of the area, maintaining a balance with our environment, and respecting national legislation, always focused on the sustainable rural development of our area of influence, directly benefiting more than 2000 direct employees and 8000 indirect employees, and improving their quality of life and that of their families.
