Acquisition of land
PALMA SUR is committed to not purchasing lands with high conservation values, considering as a parameter the analysis of satellite images that indicate the absence of natural forests from the year 2007 to the present.

No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation:
The company commits to refraining from practices and actions aimed at eliminating and destroying forested areas, wetlands, or peatlands, as well as secondary forest vegetation located in areas with potential and characteristics for the planting and cultivation of African palm. All types of practices to eliminate forest cover in areas with high conservation value, protected areas, and compensation zones are prohibited.

Conservation of Wildlife:
It is considered a serious offense to capture, harm, or eliminate wildlife, especially endemic, threatened, or endangered species, on the company's operational premises.
